Today we are going to be discussing 17 but let's just briefly look back at what we learned from verse 16.

My synopsis from last week was, if you love people, you will tell them the gospel.

However, we learned that many people are ashamed of the gospel and they, I guess essentially, they're fearing the response

that comes from the message of the cross.

They fear rejection and persecution and theological defense.
