All right, welcome back to Jay's analysis.

I'm honored to have back Father John Weipford, who we had on maybe a month or two ago,

and we got pretty deep into a lot of the difficult issues, I guess you could say,

from the geopolitical perspective.

Today, though, what I want to start with in the first

part, the first half maybe, is getting into Father John's critique of the Roman Catholic system.

I know he's done a lot of discussions of Protestantism. His website, his blog is really good for a lot

of apologetics for especially Protestants, but all over the place, a lot of really good

scriptural articles as well. And I'll have that link below. You can follow him as well as his

telegram and his Twitter. But today, Father John, I'd like to talk about some of the questions

maybe that you had about Rome Catholicism that didn't steer you in that direction when you

were maybe questioning Protestantism. I heard you over on Father Ivanov's stream and y'all

were talking about your background and being a Nazarene and then you had some questions about

that. And gradually you were, I think you said you met a priest at a pro-life event and you said,

you know, could you imagine me ever wearing that outfit? Well, here you are. We have you wearing

that outfit, right? And so, so let's maybe start with that. Did you have a phase when you really

started questioning Protestantism where you thought, well, hey, maybe the Catholics have it right,

or did you kind of just stay right towards orthodoxy?

You know, when I was a Protestant, I was raised very anti-Catholic. And so when I started getting interested in orthodoxy, actually my opinion of a Catholicism improved a little bit.

But when I was in junior high school, believe it or not, as a young person, I was very interested in different religions.

And I actually took the Knights of Columbus correspondence course because I got interested enough in Catholicism that I wanted to learn more about it.

And there were things about it that did attract me.
