But man, we got to get right into it.

I can't even imagine this was the first year you've traveled with the team.

So you go to Tallahassee.

I mean, 8.50 end of the game,0-0 Alabama first drive. And I'm like,

damn, this is pretty methodical drive. Exactly what you wanted. Remember being on the sideline talking to a staff or saying Florida State's defense is in for a long day. And that humidity,

they basically put a nine-play drive on them and just leaned on them. And if they couldn't hold up to that, it just looked like it was going to be a long day. The Florida State completely took all the air out of that stadium. I mean, they had Burt Kreischer pumping up the crowd before the game, taking a shirt off. I mean, they went all out. I mean, they had Peter Warwick there. They were pointing toward this game.

And Alabama came out, punched him in the mouth, took the lead. The air came out of the stadium. And then in, like, less than four minutes, they went down and tied the game up. And after that, it was... It really, you know, I kept waiting, even at halftime, because Alabama was down, I guess, 10 at half, right? and then they were catching three and a half for the game.

I was like, I still think Bama can win this game. But once I got into the third quarter, it just felt like Florida State was the better team. I can't really get a read. Week ones are tough. You know this. And look, Alabama could bounce back and go 11 and one of the regular season, and we'll talk more on that speculation a little bit.

Florida State could end up being a 7-5 team, or they could end up being, you know, a 12-0 ACC champion again. Who knows? I just, I couldn't really get a lot out of it, but the one thing that everybody is pointing to, which I agree, was effort and energy. 100%. Yeah. And I don't know how that's explained because you're behind the scenes a lot.

And look, Kayla Dabor can coach.

I don't care what anybody says.

It hasn't translated the way people want up until this point, the way Alabama fans want, I should

say.

The guy can coach, but all we heard off-season was how well the chemistry was, how well the culture was, and then 31-side team.
