Man, it has been a real treat to have ISU doing what it's doing.

I get to be a part of the van wagon of the Redbirds.

And I get to talk with the head coach Brock Spack.

So this has been a lot of fun seeing them win and getting a chance to talk with coach again.

I was thinking about it.

We've been talking on radio shows or podcasts for a long time.

And this is amazing.

Watching you guys go back and forth at UC Davis last week was exhilarating.

What was it like to be in the middle of that dog fight?

It was really interesting.

It was really the first quarter was at a frantic pace.

You know, they were, they're an up-tempo fast, no huddle team.

And we do that as well. We slowed it down to try to help our defense a little bit.

But we were scoring so fast, we couldn't make, we couldn't make adjustments.

We tried to get adjustments done and we had to go back on the field again.

It was just crazy. But settle down and we ran start in the second quarter. We started run the ball quite a bit and slow the game down and it really went at our pace instead of there. So in the third quarter was a really good quarter. I think we had the ball. I don't want, I mean, they had the ball maybe five or six snaps only in the third quarter. So we, we held the ball a long time. And the problem with that for them was that we scored after we held the ball that long. You know, we would drive and then we would score a touchdown. And that's, that's what you don't want. And if you if you're on the other side but it was it was a

it was a great game uh you know we you know avenged the loss we had last year with them but

a really good coach there really good program and uh was a really big win for us we talked about
