Summary

This one's for the girls who are evolving but still got questions. Y'all slid into the inbox, called, and left voicemails. And sis, we thank you for trusting us with your hearts. Those questions landed on SJR's desk, and now she's delivering rogue advice: the kind that breaks the mold in ways you didn't see coming. Expect a heart check with a side of chin check, covering everything from losing touch with God and navigating sexual identity to rediscovering true fulfillment. What's up family? This is your girl, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and you are listening to the Woman

0:08.5

Evolve podcast. I hope you all enjoyed our devotional to get things started. It has been a treat for me to

0:17.1

share with you all the things that have been on my heart. And I pray that it helped to bring some

0:22.3

clarity or maybe even a launch pad for you doing your own deep digging to determine and define

0:29.5

what going rogue looks like for you in this season. You know, the thing about going rogue is that

0:35.5

sometimes we accept realities, mindsets,

0:40.8

things that just aren't necessarily meant to be a part of our highest identity,

0:46.1

1:12.4

And for me, that has been a beautiful process.

1:15.4

I have spent the last 20-some days off the social media.

1:23.0

And it has been, it's been beautiful for me, actually.

1:29.1

At first when I gave up social media, I thought that it was God trying to, like, test me to see if I was going to be tempted and to show me how addicted I was to it.

1:38.3

And, you know, it hasn't been that because most of the time when I'm on social media, I can acknowledge that I in fact

1:45.2

have other things I could be, should be doing, but I am wasting time on social media. So I haven't

1:51.7

necessarily felt tempted as much as I have felt more productive, but I have been surprised

1:57.1

to understand like how clear my mind has been. I am a slow processor and shout out to the

2:05.2

slow processors. She's not a quick girl. She's not fast. But when she does land, she lands strong.

2:12.5

Okay. That is my testimony. I'm not the sharp. Like if you need something immediately sharp, don't, don't,

2:19.4

I'm, maybe not me, but you sharpen me up and I'll cut through a watermelon or carrot or something.
