I always like to start with something interesting, and this number totally got my attention.

$749 million, right?

Whoa, that's a lot of money.

You know what I'm talking about is that when you go get your food or your groceries,

that there's always somebody there, something on the pad that says, hey, would you like to donate

$2, $5,

or $20 to whatever charity or whatever they're trying to raise money for? Well, last year, the companies in the

U.S., as I mentioned, raised $749 million from donations at these various checkout places. I mean, I get it.

It's always for a good cause. But for everyone listening,

you don't have to donate. If you don't want to, you're not a bad person for not doing so.

And I have to tell you this, a new supermarket open near my house. It's really kind of sweet.

It has an automatic mister to keep all the produce fresh. And just before it goes on, you hear like the sound of distant

thunder and the smell of rain. Then when you pass the milk case, you hear like cows moving,

and then you smell like this fresh hay. And then in the meat department, there's the aroma of

charcoal grilled steaks with onions. And all this is fine and

Danny, but I'll tell you, I don't buy my toilet paper there anymore. Just saying. And on that
