This week's story comes from Robin Anextine.

More than 10 years ago, Robin was living in the United Kingdom.

She was a US citizen and her immigration visa was expiring.

She needed to submit a new application to get it updated.

She sent it after the UK's immigration office, and then she got news that her father had unexpectedly died back home.

She realized she needed to get back to the US as soon as possible and she needed her passport application

approved right away.

After facing a few hurdles, she called the US embassy for help.

When she got someone on the phone, she was agitated and upset.

And at the end I just said, can you help me?

And then on the other end of the line,

in a very deliberate calm voice I heard absolutely just like

that and that one word just just it allowed me to stop what I was doing, stop my agitation and listen to him and he explained very clearly that they could issue me a emergency temporary passport.

I got my passport and we flew out the next day from Manchester to New York so I could say goodbye to my father.

And even to this day and it happened over 10 years ago I can still hear that word and the voice of the man who
