You just mentioned to me that you had been one of the archaeologists working at Tel Haman. Is that how we say it? Tell el Hamam.

Tell el Hamam, which we now know to be biblical Sodom, that you were there with Dr. Collins working on it.

Yeah, from the beginning, the first six seasons.

But maybe what your listeners may find interesting is that in a different time period

related to what we're talking about the conquest, Talal Hamam is none other than Shatim of

Joshua 2-1, Joshua 3-1, Numbers 251, where the Israelites spent the last few months of the 40 years

before they crossed over.

The epicenter of it is Tal al-Hamamam.

And so when we talk about from Shatim to Shiloh, for example,

for the beginning of the conquest to the end of the conquest,

that's our anchor point.

Well, okay, so when we were talking just a moment ago about Shiloh, for three centuries, that goes on, what happened to it?

I'm just curious.

I mean, if Solomon says, okay, now we're going to build a real temple, temple, what happens to Shiloh?
