I've been privileged to own the paths, you know, for 31 years, and the last two years have been really really difficult the worst two years

of our ownership and so we've tried to create a foundation of a new beginning and I'm

pretty excited about what we have so I've been told to calm down, but I really am.

What's going on, you know, the chemistry in the building and reaching out and signing a lot of hopefully good free agents.

We have the foundation. I hope that we're never drafting number four again in my lifetime.

But today it's a great opportunity and in the end, you know, if you want to build a team

that is going to win and sustain winning, you have to have good drafts.

And unfortunately, over the last few years years we have not done a good job in that area

and I think the organization has reshuffled how we do things on priorities and how we value

and I hope we start to see the impact of that over the next couple of years.

the Patriots faced in the last two years.

But now I sense unchecked optimism from the owner.

We've got a long way to go. I'm wondering, I saw a picture tweeted by our buddy Mike Reese where they were sitting in the courtyard there, I think, at the breakers having a morning coffee before Kraft met with the media.

And I wonder if that was the message he was trying to convey, because if it was Rayble to Kraft, I don't think Kraft got the message because he's talking about playoffs, Tom?

Playoffs? That's what the Patriots need to do to have a successful season yeah if you define playoffs as being a success
