0:10.8	this ancient lost vast city discovered underneath the pyramids? Is that something that people
0:18.3	have known about? Like what's this is this new? What is it?
0:22.6	Look, pretty much, if you go to Sakara, which is not far away from Giza, it's just a bit south,
0:29.6	basically there is like an entire city underneath the Joseph Pyramid.
0:34.6	I've seen it.
0:35.6	So it really shouldn't be that surprising. However,
0:39.4	I think it's probably a bit early to say that there's an entire city underneath Caffray. That
0:44.4	there are structures underneath it, I think, is pretty profound in and of itself. And the
0:50.8	extent to which they extend down beneath it, which are believed to be as much as two
0:55.8	kilometers down, that's pretty incredible without a doubt. But we don't know exactly what it is
1:02.0	yet. And you have to kind of understand how synthetic aperture radar works. What it does is it send
1:08.4	pulses into the earth. And those pulses then send an echo based on the different structures that are in the earth.
1:15.6	And so these tiny minute, minute differences that are between the different types of structures that might be underneath the pyramid are sending
1:29.8	different echo signals and those different angles echo signals are then organized and managed
1:34.6	and looked at in this way that we can start to interpolate what it might mean is underneath
1:40.1	the pyramid so that there is something there I think is probably pretty clear. What that
1:45.7	something is, it's really hard to tell at this stage. So the only way to be able to tell is going
1:51.5	to be to excavate it and be able to actually see if the first things that, you know,
1:57.9	the SAR scan would indicate are actually there.
