I'm your host, Gips and Johns, and I mean, what a sad week for the Bravo community.

I'm sure if you're listening to this, you know by now that Mary Cosby's only son, Robert Jr.

died on Monday, February 23rd. He was 23. The news came out two days later via TMZ originally.

And I mean, I mean, what is there to say? It's incredibly gutting, heartbreaking, devastating. He had just gotten out of jail 20 days earlier and he had posted a photo on

Instagram of himself three days after that on February 6 saying I'm back with a

smiley face and you know obviously his his struggles with addiction have been well

documented and we'll get into that in a second but but, you know, it's, it's hard to

find the word, but addiction is just such a terrible, devastating disease, and I can only imagine

how difficult it can be to get out from under that, to get firmly back on a road to recovery.

And as Andy Cohen said on his radio show this morning,

in a really thoughtful conversation with his co-host,

John Hill, who is sober, who has had his own struggles with addiction,

and been very open about that.

Sometimes people just don't want to be helped.

And Andy said that he had talked to Mary on Tuesday,

so the day after Robert passed,

but before the news had come out publicly. And so he had, he connected with her, you know,

not just on social media. And because I do try to give you guys a really kind of comprehensive

picture of Bravo updates, I do want to walk through sort of what we know about what happened
