Coming from right here in our quaint little studio, I'm of course your host, John Campia,

and this is the show where we talk about the things that we love, movies and movie news,

TV and streaming, the things that bring us joy.

And I'm joined in that

joy in studio today by our technical producer, Jonathan Voico. Good morning, everybody. Writer,

director, producer, Robert Meyer Burnett. I need some joy today. And most importantly,

you guys are here. Thank you so much for being here and making our show a part of your day.

Here's how today's show's going to go. We're going to start off by talking about a number of predetermined topics we have lined up for you guys. Then in the second part of the show is when we throw it over to you and we take your live comments and questions. If you have a thought theory, opinion, or question you'd like us to discuss, as long as we deem it appropriate to be discussed on the show go

ahead and fire it in to our super chats you can do that in the live chat and as long as it's

appropriate for our show we'll get around to answering it in the second part of the show all right

guys with that down let's get things started with insanely bad news.

My phone notification went off of the news alert and I looked down to it and I was in

stunned disbelief to see that legendary filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife had died, had died. They were murdered. And a current

reports today are saying by Rob Reiner's son, uh, but we won't go into all that right now. Um,

be that as it may. And we'll just kind of focus here on, I can't believe we are now living in a world without Rob Reiner.

A guy who brought such joy, such contributions to the art,

such whimsy and such powerful films that are some of his movies in the pantheon of like some of the all-time greats

um is no longer with us i mean obviously goes without saying i have never lived in a world without rob reiner

both as an actor and as a director of course i mean it was a little bit before my time when he burst onto the scene with all in the family.

And he played Meathead in that which he, you know, was legendary for all the way up to when he was doing his guest appearances in New Girl.
