Welcome back to I'm interested. I'm Mike Greenberg and this has been such a delightful

fall for me to have launched this and to have taken part in so many really interesting

conversations for those of you who are joining for the first time this is the first

baseball discussion we've done so perhaps we have some baseball fans who haven't been with us before

the entire concept of this podcast was that I would just select a group of people

that I find interesting and talk to them about the things that make them interesting to me.

And we had the intention of doing eight of these interviews and this is the 11th.

So that's how much fun that I have had and

we're going to take a little break through the winter after this. I'm going to come back in the spring

with all new interviews and all new conversations, but I am just thrilled now that the World Series is behind us and we go into

what is one of the more interesting parts of the baseball season every year, candidly, which is the hot stove

season and everything else, to conclude this season with the Commissioner of

Major League Baseball and one of the most interesting people that I've been

fortunate enough to come to now in my 30 years covering sports Rob Manford

is going to spend a little time with us here
