And this may be a really simple, stupid question,

but that's what we do a lot in talk radio. We ask simple, stupid questions. How did you become

you? How did you do this? Well, that's an interesting question. Grew up in the suburbs of Chicago.

I was going to go to West Point. Didn't get in. End up being the best thing that never happened to me, and decided to take a gap year. It's now been a gap decade where now I've had 10 years off of college. And so it's the great irony the whole thing. I run a college organization not going to college myself, which actually makes me the best and worse person to talk about college and its problems.

But I've visited my fair share of colleges over 150 schools all across the country.

From Maine to Stanford, I've spoken from University of Hawaii, actually, in the event there.

And so we also have obviously a very significant campus presence at Turning Point USA.

That keeps me an insight of what's happening.

But look, I gave my life for the Lord in fifth grade. It's the most important thing to me. I'm always been a patriot. I can't stand when people take for granted this beautiful republic that we've been given. We're called the good stewards as Christians, and boy, are we not doing that right now. We've got to turn the corner on that. I've never liked bullies.

I don't like tyrant.

And I don't get idly by well. I'm not really a spectator guy. So I try to get into the arena to do what is necessary and to do what is needed. And so that's where we're at right now. And it's just been an amazing decade. our 10-year anniversary is coming up on June 5th, praise God.

And so every day, we're working to up on June 5th, praise God.

And so every day we're working to keep on growing the footprint of Turchpoint USA, maximizing our cultural influence. And yeah, I'm just a small part of it. It's our staff. It's our donors. It's our board members. Over 100,000 people financially contribute to Turning Point USA. It's an extraordinary funding base we have in every corner of the country, all 50 states represented. So I am who I am thanks to the people

that have supported me and thanks to the incredible blessing of the Lord.

Yeah, I mean, it's pretty cool to be you, right? Like if I show up to speak somewhere,

there's eight people, most of them probably wandered in for a free cup of soup or something. You speak and there's hundreds of thousands or thousands of people

every time you go somewhere. That's a pretty cool existence. It's awesome. It's a lot of pressure. It

really is. And, you know, I remember the years where I remember I spoke in in Indiana event, I think it's Green Castle, Indiana.

Yeah, Green Castle.

Layback when, yeah, good folks out there.

And I think there were five people and I knew four of them.

So, um, there's hope. That's what you're telling me. I have hope.
