Summary

**Section 31 Spoilers!** Happy Tuesday everyone! Today's guest is the amazing Rob Kazinsky. Rob and I have never worked together, but we've been in the same circles for years and it was such a pleasure to sit down and talk with him! You know Rob from his time as Sean Slater on EastEnders, and from playing Chuck Hansen in Pacific Rim and Orgrim in Warcraft. And now, he is fulfilling my dream and joining the Stark Trek universe. You can currently see him as Zeph in Section 31! We talk about the new movie and the controversy it's stirring up among the Star Trek faithful. We also just talk about life, including Rob's autism diagnosis and how he has weathered some challenging moments over the course of his career. I was surprised at how deep we got in such a short time, and I think you'll enjoy this conversation! Be sure to stick around for the Hindsight, where producer Jeph and I discuss the episode and open up the Mail Sack for some fan emails.

If you want to join me at the Indiana Comic Convention, I'll be there March 14-16! Get your tickets and come say hi: indianacomicconvention.com

This is crazy. I'm super excited. But I'm also excited about today's guest. So my guest today has been in

World of Warcraft, Pacific Rim, the new Star Trek section 31, and Captain Marvel.

0:47.4

I adore him. It is Rob Kaczynski. I had never met Rob. We start out talking about the fact that we have to have

0:57.2

friends in common because we're in so many of the same similar projects and we're both total

1:03.2

nerds and love sci-fi. So we think we have a million friends in common, but we couldn't

1:08.2

actually figure it out. And we've never worked together. So this was

1:11.9

one of those interviews where I go in blind. I don't know the person. And I had such a fun time

1:20.3

researching him and learning about his life. And I start out the interview by telling him

1:25.1

that he's complicated. He is complicated. He's so interesting

1:32.2

and he's had struggles in his life and in the industry and ups and downs, but he is resilient

1:42.7

and so talented and he's so honest and forthcoming in this interview.

1:51.4

And it's really wonderful.

1:53.6

You will get to know him very, very well as I did.

1:57.1

And I think he might be one of my new really great friends. In fact, we're already texting

each other. I also want to let you guys know because it is about the podcast that I am going to

2:09.1

be at Indiana Comic-Con March 14th, 15th, and 16th. It's one of those days, but, but or two of those
