And let me just start by saying,

I believe that Derek Chauvin was guilty.

What he did was inexcusable. was guilty.

I cannot imagine holding someone down

as they are begging for help,

as they are saying they can't breathe.

I just said they're asking for their mother and then... are they are saying they can't breathe.

They're asking for their mother and then standing on them

for another four minutes after they lose consciousness.

I remember the first time that I saw the videotape and I saw him being picked up off the ground lifeless and I went,

dear God. And there's been a lot of, you know, talk about drugs in his system,

cardiovascular disease, all this stuff, you know,

and I understand that.
