been doing a lot of roasting lately as you guys know but we just couldn't resist the

opportunity to roast the Crunchyroll Anime Awards which just aired last week we know who

the winners are and we have our own winners from our award show called the World Anime

Awards also known as the was so we're gonna be in this episode we're gonna be roasting the

Crunchyroll Awards which definitely deserve to be roasted this year and we're going to be comparing

it to our own award show which I personally think was way better and of course joining me my

boys Nux and Briggs Nux and Briggs did you do it in a deeper voice so they wouldn't cut out

yeah yes hell yeah and now I will say that I do enjoy the Crunchyroll app unrelated to the awards

and in terms of the award show so from what I remember correct me from wrong guys

correct me if I'm wrong but I do remember that when the award show first started it was a disaster

it was like the year Yuri and Ice came out and fans based of Yuri and Ice basically just voted

Yuri and Ice for everything so it was just known as the Yuri and Ice Awards then the year after

that there was no Yuri and Ice but it just became like the my hero academia awards but then in

the subsequent years they kind of changed up the system and there wasn't like one anime winning

everything type deal so it was actually quite good I remember last years I thought it was quite good

but this year's personally I thought it was not good at all and we'll get into that but I mean

do you guys have similar impressions funny story I did not yet look at the Crunchyroll Awards I

wanted to be surprised on the podcast so it's gonna be a blind reaction in God damn oh I've looked
