I'm behind on my pods. I have a ton backed up, but after I got the flu, then everybody else got the flow.

But took care of everybody, got myself together, and we're back. We have been doing an Epstein dive, and I'm going to get right back into that. I've got other things cooking. I got a lot of irons in the fire, but I had to take a time out, and I had to tell just about a couple current events in case these things haven't made it on your radar. My hope in doing this dive on current events,

things that have happened over the past like two, three weeks is that after listening to this

pod, you walk away with an understanding of what is happening with meta losing court cases.

Why is it important? What does it mean for the future of social media potentially? And a big part of that

is deciphering what you're being told versus

who's saying it and what are their motivations. On top of that is how was education being targeted

lately? Also, women's rights, the right to vote are elections and the stability of the U.S.

dollar. Let's go. And if you have been with me long enough, you remember when I did,

I think it was like a seven-part series I did on careless people. And that, of course, is the book, the meta whistleblower slash Facebook whistleblower. They try to rebrand. They want you to forget. My other takeaways, he does not have respect for people or time. He doesn't prepare for meetings

at a quite high level. He's socially awkward. He's got an overinflated sense of

self and ego and importance. He fits in beautifully with the era of the broligarchy. So it's not

that much of a surprise to see that people are coming after meta for their carelessness in how

they handle children online. I open my phone. I see a headline that says the following.

It says here, this verdict could affect thousands of similar cases against tech companies.

They were found liable for designing platforms that are dangerous for kids and teens in a landmark verdict that could force tech firms to rethink how they defend themselves against safety claims.
