that was unreported, underreported, didn't get the coverage we thought it deserved,

or we just found it interesting. And then we go through some questions from y'all.

Today is June 15th, and today is Global Wind Day. It's a day to celebrate and encourage wind power.

And on this date in 2015, King John at Runnymede signed the Magna Carta.

It established the idea that kings were not above the law.

Timely.

And starting with foreign policy.

The UK's Prime Minister indicated they're almost done with the

trade deal Trump said was done weeks ago. After U.S. diplomats claimed the U.S. was uninvolved with

Israel's strike against Iran, Trump came out and seemed to indicate the opposite, trying to leverage

the attack to get Iran to make

some kind of deal with him. He then later said, quote, we knew everything. Nobody can tell if this

is Trump blurting out national security information, or if it's him trying to take credit for

something he didn't do, and in fact publicly opposed.

Meanwhile, the back and forth is a slow-burning escalation, with many in the region looking for an off-ramp.

In another installment of the Chesterton's Fence Administration, the U.S. is trying to quickly bring

voice of America's Persian broadcast back online. I'm shocked. Shocked, I say, that U.S. soft

power is actually important. Stop taking down fences if you don't know why they were put up.

In U.S. news, Minnesota Representative Hortman and her husband were killed,

and Senator Hoffman and his wife were wounded in what are being investigated as politically motivated shootings.
