And I do think it's fascinating that because of the amount of success of this program has had over the past 20 years, that it's almost somewhat expected for North Carolina to become a national seed, when in reality, I mean, this is only the 11th time that Carolina has been a kind of a top 10 national

seed. So it is still quite the accomplishment, even though it is somewhat the expectation. So that

speaks to the amount of just work that Mike Fox and of course Scott Forbes has put in to this

program over the last two decades. So tip of the cap for that for sure. And watching the selection

show on Monday. And granted, we kind of knew this was going to play out over the weekend, I think,

when Carolina lost up to Georgia Tech on Sunday down in Charlotte.

But just the way the rankings were set up,

it looked like North Carolina was not going to be able to get that number four national seed,

even though I think when you look at the data they probably should have.

And the selection committee, as expected, gave the number four seed to Auburn and really leaned on the fact that it wasn't that Auburn finished tied for six in the SEC.

It was the fact they had the number one overall strength of schedule.

And by doing that, that kind of opened the door for North Carolina to bring in a SEC team as is number two in Tennessee.
