The Serial Mormon History Podcast. We all get angry sometimes.

Some of us more than others.

Some of us are lucky enough to almost never feel anger.

Now, a brief anecdote, I have a small car, and I drive this small car

across the country for, you know, Mormon history conferences and other conferences and whatnot.

For those in the know, my car is a first generation Miata. For everybody else, picture the

smallest car you've ever seen, and that's a pretty

fitting comparison. It's great. It's convertible, and that makes it the perfect Seattle summer

cruiser and a pretty great road tripper car, if only the trunk space was a little bit bigger to

fit more books when I go into these conferences. During one of our first cruises in the Miata, Annie and I were enjoying the sunshine and blasting

some music, not a care in the world.

Then a person in a massive SUV with a commanding view of the road simply didn't see

us and pulled out in front of us.

Q slamming on the brakes and honking the horn and loud cursings at the carelessness of the

ignorant driver who continued down to the road completely unaware of our existence.

After that, my fiancé, Annie, well, by the time you're hearing this, my wife, Annie, said, we're going to get a roll bar for this car.

So, you know, in order to make it so we're less certainly dead the next time that something like that happens.
