The actor, director, producer, writer and musician, Riz Ahmed.

Riz appeared to emerge fully formed with his debut in 2006's The Road to Quantanamo.

Since then, he's barely left our screens, taking on memorable roles in projects like Nightcrawler,

Star Wars Rogue One, The Night of Venom, Mogul Mogli and Encounter.

In 2021, Riz became the first Muslim to be nominated by the Academy Awards for best actor

in a leading role for his portrayal of Ruben Stone in the Sound of Metal.
