You know, being forced to communicate non-verbally does kind of affect you physically.

When I took on the role, Darius Mada, our incredible writer-director, I mean, believe it or not,

this is his first feature film that he's directed, said, I want it all to be for real.

month journey of like, you know, learning how to play the drums, just spending

two, three hours a day with a drum teacher or practicing a home.
