All right, we're continuing in the book of acts.

We are down to chapter 18 and we're looking at verses 12 through 17.

We're continuing the story of what's happening in Greece and in that area as the Apostle

Paul is spreading the gospel message for the first time in verse number 12, it says

when Galio was pro counsel of a kea, the Jews made a united attack on Paul and brought

him before the tribunal saying this man is persuading people to worship God contrary

to the law.

So stop for a moment and make sure you're clear on this.

These are Jewish people who follow the Old Testament law of Moses and they are bringing

Paul before the Roman tribunal because the Romans are the ones who are in charge of that

area and they're saying this man is persuading people to worship God contrary to our law.
