The British Prime Minister Rishizunak has announced a general election on the 4th of July.

It was something no one was predicting this time yesterday as the Opposition Labour Party has a commanding lead over the governing Conservatives in

opinion polls. Speaking in Downing Street in the pouring rain, Rishi Sunak made his

pitch to voters saying this was the moment for Britain to choose its future, promising a clear plan and bold action.

Earlier today I spoke with His Majesty the King to request the dissolution of Parliament.

The King has granted this request and we will have a general election on the 4th of July. These
