happy first weekend of NFL football. That's redundant, but a very happy weekend for all who

looking at some guys who had a nice little Saturday and some guys who did not have a whole heck of a lot of fun in one of the final weekends of the year.

But first we're going to take a look at some headlines.

And Ryan, I almost said Pedro Severino because that's just the way this is going to go today.

Severino of the New York Yankees, Luis Severino, is done.

Yes, it sure did.

Luis Severino is done for the year. A very disappointing season to say the least for a guy that, look, a long time ago, I said I thought he was a reliever. I was wrong about that. A lot of people thought he might be an ace. They were wrong about that. But no doubt that there has been some flashes of brilliance and some

lows of lows i think 2023 just got to be considered a low yeah yeah i mean he's been

ace like at times certainly um during his career this season has well actually I mean just a couple weeks

ago he had a like an awesome start there have been flashes this season I feel like

his stuff has looked fine sure since he's been healthy and while he's been healthy,

velocity's been fine.

But I think it's more like a command thing.

He's given up,

he gave up a ton of home runs this year.
