But I wanted to just start by honoring John Lewis, a man who was willing on multiple

occasions, he was one of the original freedom riders, the original 13 freedom riders, on multiple occasions to give his life for this

country and for the idea of a pluralistic, of an egalitarian, of an American society that works for all people

regardless of their race and beyond that regardless of their religion regardless of

their gender

you know fill in the blanks John Lewis was there he was a genuinely

extraordinarily good and brave man and John Lewis represented George's

fifth district for you know all the years he was in Congress.
