We're in that moment where we're saying today is about the fact that God is pursuing you.

That's what we're celebrating today.

What I love about God is he's not hiding from humanity.

He sent his son to be born in a manger.

Jesus lived on earth for 33 years, a historical reality on planet earth.

He died on a cross in the middle of the day in public where he could be seen.

He was buried in a tomb of a very respectable religious leader of the day.

Everyone in that moment knew where they took the body of Jesus.

The Roman government even wanting to make sure that there wasn't some kind of a story

of resurrection put guards at the tomb of Jesus.

Sealed it up with the authority of the government.

Yet Jesus by the power of the living God was raised up from the dead, not in secret,

but raised up in the morning, not just so that Mary could see him or a few people could

see him, but Jesus stayed on earth for 40 days so that lots of people could see him.

Because Jesus is on a mission today and that mission is he's pursuing you and he wants

you to know he's real.

And he wants you to know that his love and purpose and plan for your life is real.

And if he needs to move you into the neighborhood of a church or move a church into the neighborhood

before you get there, he'll do it.

No move heaven and earth if necessary to put you on a collision course with his grace,

his mercy and his love because he does not want any of us to live outside of the goodness

of God, the forgiveness that he offers, the grace that he has for our lives and the hope
