time we did a podcast. I know it wasn't that too long ago, but a lot has changed since.

Ole Miss has won the national title in baseball. We're here to talk realignment mostly, but I mean, I would be remiss if I didn't get your take on that. We almost did a pod right for the national title series, but it was also logjam, and I was leaving for Omaha. We couldn't end up getting it done, but congrats on the free content to fill the show for quite a long time. It's nice luxury being in Mississippi to have

that. Yeah, or people actually care. No, that was awesome for a lot of reasons, of course,

but just being in the content game where you cover both and having two teams play, I mean, last

year, because COVID disrupted everything, they played even later

than this. So to have two years where teams made it all the way to the national championship

series was just easy from that perspective. But obviously, old Miss fans are listening to

this. It's almost fitting in a way that this was the Mike Bianco team that won at all.

There were so many other Mike Bianco teams that from start to finish in the regular season

were elite level baseball teams that played generally, very good baseball,

basically the entire season.

And it happens to be this one, where despite the veteran talent that they had and the experience and all that, the team that didn't have its pitching rotation figured out multiple

weeks into conference play, that was obviously 7 and 14,

all the storylines that everybody knows,

this is the team that broke through

and won a national championship.

It's fitting, unexpected, incredible,

all those adjectives all at the same time.

And it ends the conversation, right?

I mean, there was some reluctance with us to talk about program future and stuff because
