Got a great show 40 today, moved it around one day because I was checking

in with our baseball correspondent, Colin Brister, who is a coach, basketball and baseball coach now,

Mississippi. So his schedule is moving around, so we ended up chatting on Wednesday night.

But a great conversation that started out with some basketball top and then what we really came for

was the baseball. Hopefully it's a conversation. I thought it was framed in a way that most of you

will probably have like with yourself while watching this team this year. And I guess what I mean

by that is like the hesitancy to buy back in and where that stems from why it's

happening and then what this team will actually look like this year because it should

be one of the best offenses in college baseball, if not the best offense, pretty decent in the

bullpen probably better collectively. And then, you know, can they find a couple starting

pitchers to be good enough on the mound in a league where the

pitching is kind of, I don't want to say dropped off, but anyway, starting pitching not necessarily

as strong as is at the top in a lot of years in the SEC. So a lot of conversation about that,

how the fan base is approaching the year and, you know, what the team needs to do to get over the hump and go to Omaha in a very simplistic sense.
