Today we originally planned to have a grill corner

with our man, LB's Greg, which we still do have. But before that, we had an emergency

podcast with our friend Chase Parham about Tarpgate as Ole Miss was awarded a win over

Louisiana Tech in the second game of midweek series on Wednesday afternoon due to

a technicality if you've been living under a rock.

Ole Miss was winning the game four to three entering the seventh inning.

Louisiana Tech scored two runs to go up five to four in the top of the seventh.

The game is delayed due to lightning and ultimately was not able to be completed because

of the rule.

Ole Miss was awarded the win because you go off the last completed inning.

So Ole Miss technically wins the game four to three.

And it's as if the seventh inning in which Louisiana Tech took the lead never happened.

But that has now spawned some sort of controversy about the tarp delaying,

tarp being an issue with a lightning delay.

So anyway, without getting too far into it, we talked about that,

the idiocy of Louisiana Tech stance on the situation.
