Ole Miss opened the season last night with a win over New Orleans in basketball,

and then we'll get to a bit of an A&M preview. But first, we've got former Andy Kennedy

staffer Bracken Ray, owner of the most famous assist in basketball. History,

for those of you out there that knew the story,

Bracken was the assist man on what has later been called by the history books,

the shot heard around the world.

I'm mostly kidding.

That would be my high school basketball mishap where I,

that's probably a story for another day for some of the younger,

newer listeners, I should say, but basically at a high school basketball mishap where I confused the entire opposing fan base of thinking that I had some sort of disorder or disability, but we'll, we'll get into that another day.

Anyway, Bracken, former Andy, Bradenry, former Andy Kennedy staffer on to talk what he saw last night and really do

a season preview type of thing.

The season kind of snuck up on me with the podcast schedule.

Normally it started, like from what I used to the basketball season, used to start on Friday.

And then you would go into whatever football weekend.

And that's just kind of how it went, but started on Tuesday. And so we did like a season preview type of thing. So I would I would encourage you to look at this as a season outlook with a 40-minute sample size rather than us making sweeping assumptions about all of these players and this team after 40 minutes of basketball. That is certainly not what we were trying to do. It definitely did not do that. So look at it as a season preview with the 40 minute sample size. Then we will go to Travis Brown. He is the Texas A&M reporter for the Eagle. If you listen to the season previous series where we went through every opponent or Ole Miss his schedule and talked to someone who covered them.
