Summary
People in Latin America, because of corruption and such a large percentage of the population being unbanked, do not trust their financial systems or banks very highly. Crypto currency may help millions of people who are unbanked now take part in the global financial system.
Ripio is innovative in that it allows users to use their fiat currency to buy bitcoins and load up a charge card that can be used to purchase items normally requiring a credit card and/or bank account.
Ripio also has started issuing credit to creditworthy people who want to make purchases using bitcoin!
