We got Shereen Williams up way too early this morning at 6 a.m.

Local time in the Dallas area.

And you have power, which is even more surprising than the fact that you're up at 6 a.m.

I don't want to jinx anything. You have power for now. The next two hours could be an adventure.

Good morning. Shereen. How are you? I'm good. It's two degrees minus two wind chill. Lots of friends

without power. I think you might have some people come over today like they did

last night and just try to get warm for a while. You know, we go through a whole year, Mike, of COVID

restrictions and now you kind of throw those out the window because it's so cold and invite people

into your house. It just seems like the right thing to do right now when's the last time it was two degrees

in texas uh we've hit record lows it's never been as cold as it's been with the wind chills over the

past two days and it's supposed to get colder i think tonight into tomorrow with uh some more snow and ice

coming in so it's reminiscent you'll remember this of the Super Bowl

when it was here. This is the last time we've had anything close to this, Mike.

Well, I was just going to say those records will stand until the next time there's a Super Bowl

in Dallas because, yes, I remember that well. It was in the 60s one day the next day there was

two inches of ice everywhere and it stayed there all way along well it's good

that that you've got power and I feel I've seen like Charles Robinson from

Yahoo who lives in the Houston area it was in the 40s in his house because the power's out. No way to heat.

And hopefully everybody stays safe and this period ends quickly for folks down there.
