I'm Danielle Moody.

And I'm Wajatli, and I will not be attending the inauguration of a twice impeached to Bulgarian rapist, even though I live in the DMV.

I wouldn't be in D.C. if somebody paid me because unlike some people will be talking

about later in the show, you can't put a price on integrity. But, you know, that's me.

But we kick off today's democracy-ish with a somber note.

Breaking news this morning was that Cecil Richards, former president of Planned Parenthood,

has died at the young age, honestly, of 67 years old.

Cecile, who I've had the pleasure of working with over a decade at our time when she

was leading Planned Parenthood, I was at the Center for American Progress and doing

other work for movement leaders and extraordinary, extraordinary activist,

extraordinary woman who did so much for Planned Parenthood while she was president,

but also after truly an incredible legacy and an extraordinary loss.

It's, yeah.

I mean, I know, I'm sorry for your loss, Daniel.

I just saw it right before, and we mentioned it just very briefly, and I'm glad you got

an image up.

It's, and what I said was, just look at the timing, right?

We talked about Jimmy Carter dying last week.

Flags were a half-mask.

A man who, regardless of his presidency, what he did after his presidency, right?
