Yikes. Okay, let's just jump right into things. Despite what the progressive left in America

likes to tell people, no, Europe is not some utopia of democratic socialism and rainbows

and unicorns. Sadly, if you've been paying attention for the past week or so, France

right now has actually been going through what some people are even going as far as to

call a civil war. At the very least, it's civil unrest and a ton of violence is happening.

And actually looking into what started all of this unrest, it almost seems like France is

experiencing their own summer of love that infamously happened after George Floyd's death on

video went viral. You see, this all stems from the death of a 17-year-old at the hands of police,

which sounds very familiar if you keep up with what's happening in American politics.

And as this account on social media explains, protests and riots erupted across

multiple suburbs in Paris after police shot dead a 17-year-old teenager for allegedly not

stopping his car when ordered to. NLM, who was of Algerian heritage, was driving a rental car

early on Tuesday when he was ordered to stop by traffic police. Police initially said the

teen drove his car straight at them. However, a video posted on social media showed two officers

trying to stop the vehicle, with one pointing his weapon at the youth through the car window

before firing at close range as the youth attempted to drive off. Somebody in the video

can also be heard saying, you're going to be shot in the head before the officer open fire.
