As someone who wasn't born in America and who had to file a lot of very expensive paperwork

just to live here, the 4th of July means a lot to me at a time when I can take a moment to

appreciate just how miraculous the nation's founding was and also give thanks for all of the

freedom and opportunities that are afforded to me simply because I live here. Is America perfect?

No, but is it the greatest nation on the planet? If you ask me the answer is hell yes. Now,

that's my take on the holiday, but apparently a lot of progressives, a lot of liberals, a lot of

leftists out there don't share that same sentiment. And they actually use the opportunity of the

nation's birthday, its national day to actually take shots at the very country that they live in.

Does that seem in poor taste? You might be thinking yes, but that didn't stop the likes of let's

start here. Ben and Jerry's the ice cream company. Yeah, we'll open with their hot take. They

on the 4th of July actually put this out. The United States was founded on stolen indigenous land.

This 4th of July, let's commit to returning it. Okay, so if you ask me an ice cream company really

doesn't need to do anything for the 4th of July, maybe have a 4th of July sale or tweet something

out like, oh, during all of your barbecuing outside, how about a nice cool pint of Ben and Jerry

something like that? Using holiday as a reason to slam America and shove progressive talking points

down their customers' throats. I mean, it's an interesting marketing tactic to say the least.

We've not for a long time to get me wrong. They've been in Jerry's, at least the founders,

they're far leftist, but this is just another example of why I no longer buy their product.

And actually another far left ice cream company is Jennings, which kills me because I think

Jennings is even better than Ben and Jerry's, but I went to their store a while back and it was
