This is a show inspired by role-playing games, where you are the hero. With music and sound effects, you will be transported

to different worlds in the multiverse. Some worlds are familiar. Others are totally exotic.

Before we launch into Rings in the Mist, Part 4, I'd like to say a thank you to one of our listeners. Nine-year-old Merge is what he goes by. I don't know his real name, unfortunately. I found these really cool books called Fighting Fantasy.

And this podcast is actually based on the concept of those books,

where you are the hero exploring different worlds.

So I have a really special memory of being your age. And you know, when your

imagination gets activated and you're just enjoying it so much, that passion can carry you through

your whole life. And who knows where it will take you? When I'm writing these stories for you,

I'm still that nine or ten-year-old kid loving being taken away to different

worlds. It was a special time. So merge, or whatever your name is, I have a really good feeling about you.
