The Paris Olympic Games officially begin Friday.

We've been covering the lead up to the summer games with our series Rings and things,

and today we're wrapping up the series with a look at what's new.

Breaking or breakdancing will make its Olympic

debut in a couple of weeks.

It's like they're accepting this dance. It's no longer something that you can just look at

and say, oh, these kids that just break

dancing, whatever, right? You can't brush it off anymore. It's like a serious discipline.

That's Antonio Castillo, also known as Task, and the new Voice of America documentary from the

Street to the Olympics.

We'll speak with Antonio in just a moment.

Four American breakers qualified for the first ever Olympic competition. Its inclusion comes after other

youth-led sports return including skateboarding, climbing, and surfing. Spectators can

expect a number of other changes like the inclusion of kayak crossing and kiteboarding.
