A beacon for aspiring musicians. Beyond the honky tonks, southern food joints

tempt with a aroma of slow-cooked smoked barbecue. Street performers belt out tunes.

Their voices competing with the honking taxis and the rhythmic clip-clot of horse-drawn

carriages.

The section of the city known as Lower Broad, on any given night, hosts tens of thousands of tourists and locals,

all out to have a few drinks, listen to some great live music, and above all else, have a good time.

Walking down the sidewalk late on a Friday or Saturday night, you'll be shoulder to shoulder with people of all sorts.

Beautiful people, dressed up to look their best while out on the dance floor. College students

out with their fellow classmates, possibly looking for an overnight companion.

Older folks in town just to take in the scenery and music.

And of course, dozens of groups of women in town for a bachelorette party,

those have been given the title of Woo Girls by the locals.
