as well. Yeah, this is our first podcast since draft night, right? And things have changed quite a bit.

It feels like it feels like a lot of things have happened. Yeah, it feels like a really long time ago.

How long was it? It was a week. That's all it was. It was normal amount of time, right?

Yeah, officially last right. All right. So before we get anything, can I can I put in a small like charity plug thing?

I've done it before but I can do it again. So this is actually a pretty good cause. It really has nothing to do with me either.

Well, it sort of has well, whatever. So when Val and I went on our honeymoon, I don't know if I've mentioned this before,

when Val and I went on our honeymoon in Aruba, there are like a million stray dogs in Aruba.

They do not think about dogs the way that we think about dogs here. Even the people that have dogs,

like if your dog runs away, you're like, yeah, well, whatever. It's sort of like I have a cat and I love my cat,

but it's sort of like cats. Like if you go in South Philly, there's a million stray cats. They're like,

they're all over the place. So that's where it's like in Aruba and what they do to control this problem is they basically just round them up every day and kill them.

Oh, yeah, it's terrible. So we found out there's a charity called ARF Aruba that basically if you want to adopt a dog from Aruba,

they will cover the cost of like putting the dog on the plane, finding a volunteer to fly them back.

Like it's a crazy, crazy, like great charity. They're actually, so we're adopting a dog from Aruba and they're basically,

they have a volunteer flying him from Aruba to Miami and then somebody from Pennsylvania flying to Miami to get the dog to bring them back here.

And this all costs me nothing. I think the adoption fee is like 200 bucks, which is the same if you adopt a dog like in Philadelphia or whatever.

Like with all the work they do. So they have a, they have a spay a neuter campaign that they're starting. They they've raised like $20,000 so far where they're just going to go to Aruba and spay a neuter as many dogs as they can to try to control the population so they don't just like keep killing them.

There's even like a, I don't know if you can handle this, but there's a pretty horrible video of them like rounding up the dogs. It's really sad because Aruba is a really nice island. Everybody's super nice, but the problem is pretty out of control.
