Acts 1348. Song 54. This is the way. Focus. When to offer Bible

studies and invite people to our meetings. Paragraph 1. Question. How do people differ in the way they respond to the good news?

Many people in the first century accepted the truth as soon as they heard the Christian message.

Acts 13, 47, and 48 reads,

For Jehovah has commanded us in these words,

I have appointed you as a light of nations,

for you to be a salvation to the ends of the earth.

When those of the nations heard this,

they began to rejoice and to glorify the word of Jehovah,

and all those who were rightly disposed for everlasting

life became believers.

Chapter 16, verses 14 and 15 read,

And a woman named Lydia, a seller of purple from the city of Thyatara, and a worshipper of

God, was listening, and Jehovah opened her heart wide to pay attention to

the things Paul was saying. Now, when she and her household got baptized, she urged us.

If you have considered me to be faithful to Jehovah, come and stay at my house. And she just made us come.

Likewise today, some rejoice when they hear the good news for the first time. Even those who

initially show no interest in the kingdom message may later open their heart wide to accept it. What should we do
