We are in week three of a series on righteousness, peace, and joy.

This is the joy week.

Lord, we love you.

Thank you for this place.

Thank you for God, the people that have gathered this morning.

We just honor you. We continue to look to you through song, through giving, and through your word.

And so, Father, we ask that you would speak to us. Open our hearts, open our hearts in the eyes of our heart to see and understand what you would be saying to us

in your word god we need you god we need you to receive you we need you god to receive you to

understand to know you and so we commit this morning to you god God, again, just again and again, we humble ourselves

before you. We ask that you would reveal yourself, that you love to show yourself to your people,

God, that you are the source of our joy. Jesus, you are the source of our joy. And so help us see you,

God, where we have been blinded, where we have been

discouraged, where the clouds have just come over us and we cannot see you, God. Lord, I pray

today, this morning, that you would part the clouds through the living and abiding word of God,

or that your word would be sharp, that it would cut through the lies and the accusation

and the discouragement and every

demonic force coming against your people, God. And I pray, God, that you would just release the

spirit, the oil of joy, the oil of gladness would be upon us this morning. We confess we need it.
