Luke chapter 1 verses 6 and 7. And they were both righteous before God,

0:10.4

walking blamelessly in all the commandments and statutes of the Lord. But they had no child,

0:15.3

because Elizabeth was barren and both were advanced in years. So these verses are describing

0:20.3

Elizabeth and Zechariah, a wife and husband, who listened to the description in verse 6. They were

0:26.1

both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and statutes of the Lord.

0:33.3

What a description. Don't you want that to be the description of your life righteous before God?

0:39.4

1:30.4

marriage. And regardless the end is the same, God's not providing children in the way you long for,

1:37.6

whether in singleness or in barrenness and marriage. And I just want to pray specifically over

1:45.2

couples like that is over couples who are walking through infertility and over singles who

1:51.8

long for marriage and children who God is not provided in that way yet. And I just want to

1:58.0

encourage you in light of verse 6. That's why I read both verse 6 and 7. So this picture of

2:04.0

barrenness in verse 7 is accompanied by this picture of fruitfulness in verse 6. They were both

2:11.0

righteous before God, walking blamelessly in his commandments and statutes. I just want to pray,
