We have a great guest. Kimberly Crenshaw is a professor of law at UCLA, also at Columbia,

and she's very well known for writing about intersectionality,

but also as being a great professor and activist and expert for decades now.

So, Kim, welcome.

I always happen to be in conversation with you, Perry.

Yes, you were a great guest to be, I think, in November.

So you have a memoir out, so I want to talk about that, which is like, I would, in November. So you have a memoir out.

So I want to talk about that, which is like, I would say, great news, you know, hearing from you and in this kind of link.

But I want to start with, I think, really important news from yesterday.

And you're the right kind of person that's about this, which is that we now have another Supreme Court ruling further limiting the Voting Rights Act.

And I guess as we're speaking right now,

legislators and governors in Alabama, I think Louisiana, among other places, are sort of literally

talking about how do we redraw our districts to further limit the number of black

representatives we send to Congress and to say legislators and to limit the black voices in our state further.

So talk about your reaction to that ruling yesterday, first of all.

Well, Perry, it was sadly expected.

Anyone who has been following the Supreme Court's jurisprudence over the last, you know,

two decades know that we are looking at a deliberate,

devastating approach to the infrastructure of the civil rights movement.
