Alright, let's dive in to Proverbs chapter 16 again.

We are looking at verses 7 and 17 today because they have a similar theme.

Verse 7 says,

May man's ways please the Lord.

He makes even his enemies to be a peace with him.

And the verse 17, the highway of the upright turns aside from evil, whoever guards his

way preserves his life.

Now both of these passages, both these verses, give us kind of a picture of what right living

looks like and then one benefit that comes from that kind of living.

Now let's keep in mind that a Proverb by nature of what it is is a general truth.

It's not a promise that in every specific circumstance exactly what's being said is

going to happen, but it's giving you a general guideline of this kind of thing is what
