Jess and I, for the first couple years of our marriage, we had struggles financially. And there were times when we would be giving to the Lord's work and praying for a miracle. In fact, I believe that if you have a need, you got to sow a seed. That's part of what it takes to see a financial breakthrough. We'll get to those in just a moment. But I'm telling you, I remember sitting at the dining table, looking over the bills, and just wondering how we were going to pay it all. And there was a time where we had to choose which bills we were going to pay when. We had to decide, okay, which one are we going to be laid on? Because there's just not enough coming in to cover everything. And I was frustrated. I felt like I was failing as the leader of our home. I felt like I was failing as a man of God. I felt like I was failing just as a human being, not being able to contribute, not being able to just pay for the basics of life or maybe take my wife out to a simple restaurant |
