Colossians 3, set your mind and keep it set on things that are above,

not on things upon the earth.

If you have died with Christ and been risen with Him, think on good things.

Think on things that God would think on.

Not just don't think like the world anymore.

Think by faith and see that your future can be great even though your past maybe

has been lousy.

And you can think your own thoughts.

You don't have to think just whatever falls in your head.

You can actually choose what you want to think and think on it.

Now, in the beginning, when you start asking God to help you control your mind,

you're probably going to have a little battle on your hands.

And so you may need to have teaching like this or the book that I wrote on the battlefield of the mind

so many people like and enjoy that.
