Welcome, guys, to another T-Rex talk.

0:06.4

Today we are going to be talking about, I don't know if you can kind of see,

0:10.0

but I have a number of attachments, scopes, red dots, lights, lasers, guns, uppers, rifles.

0:17.4

I think we can show rifles on stream.

0:19.2

I've been told recently by a certain garland thumb that I'm allowed to show guns on stream again.

0:23.6

We'll see though. We might do that in a little bit. But I want to take some questions today on gun accessories, gun parts, and maybe help you guys out with some experiences that we've had in collecting a wide variety of equipment. And what's good, what's not,

0:39.9

what sucks, what's cool. Probably one of the biggest discussions is, you know, are these nicer

0:45.8

red dots worth the money, you know, compared to more budget options that come out of Asia?

0:51.4

And the answer is, yes, some of these optics out here, name brand

0:54.7

optics are more expensive. There are things about them that are a little more reliable,

0:59.4

and the companies behind them have really good customer service and warranty and all sorts

1:02.8

of other things that do make them expensive for a reason. My favorite comments, and as someone

1:10.7

in a manufacturing company, my favorite comments from people when you're talking price point on stuff is, why on earth does such and such a product cost $1,000, $500, or like shot time or stuff like that.

1:22.4

Generally speaking, 99% of the time, these are people who don't work in manufacturing, don't own a manufacturing

1:27.6

company, and they don't understand how expensive or difficult it is to get stuff made.

1:32.6

The levels that go into making, you know, an electro-optic, all the different parts, the electronics,

1:39.5

the overhead, the patents involved, the lawyers involved, the legal team, the testing involved. Like,

1:46.5

there's a lot that goes into making an optic, which, you know, and then at the end, the price

1:50.6

point of this optic has to ultimately pay for all that testing that occurred. Now, we mostly

1:54.8

produce cheaper products. I think one of the most expensive products we manufacture ourselves or

2:00.2

have had made is the

2:01.2

AC1 at $190. And even that has been a million-dollar plus project to get that done. And that's not
