You know, in my mind, a big part of getting better at something is understanding the mechanics or concepts behind it.

And that is what I like about the way Coach Ramey Stroud teaches, is he starts with knowledge,

he teaches the underlying concepts about something and then he

teaches us how to do it so that this approach makes it easier to learn and then when you

get out there riding on your bike if you have trouble mastering the skill you can sort of think things through because you already understand why you're doing it, not just how to do something.

And I think that old adage applies to this too, you know, give a person a fish, they have a meal, teach a person to fish, and

they become better riders.

Or something like that, anyway.
